The use of certifications and memberships ensure stringent adherence to food safety regulations, maintaining regulatory compliance, and upholding company, social and environmental policies.
The certifications and memberships listed apply to either Dellia Group AS, individual or all subsidiaries, suppliers or single products depending on the certification or membership type. Eco-Lighthouse
Recognized by the EU as equal to ISO 14001, Eco-Lighthouse is Norway's most widely used certification for businesses looking to demonstrate environmental responsibility. It provides a framework for organizations to create sustainable business practices, focusing on reducing environmental impact, enhancing energy efficiency, and promoting a sustainable work environment.
BRC Food Safety (BRCGS)
The British Retail Consortium Global Standard for Food Safety (BRCGS) is a leading global quality and food safety certification program. It outlines the requirements for the production, packaging, storage, and distribution of safe food, focusing on quality management systems, factory environment standards, product control, and process control.
IFS Food Standard
The International Featured Standards (IFS) Food is a GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) recognized standard for auditing food manufacturers. It focuses on food safety and the quality of processes and products, aiming to ensure that IFS-certified companies produce a product that is safe and conforms to customer specifications.
Certified Organic
EU Organic Certification ensures products meet the EU's strict organic farming standards, focusing on environmental and animal welfare, and banning GMOs. It guarantees that over 95 % of ingredients in certified products are organic, ensuring sustainability and ethical production within the EU.
Debio Organic Certification is Norway's standard for organic products, managed by Debio. It certifies that products comply with rigorous organic guidelines, covering food, textiles, and cosmetics.
The «Ø-label» signifies high-quality, sustainably produced organic goods in Norway, promoting trust and environmental stewardship.
Certified Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
GMP is a system for ensuring that products are consistently produced and controlled according to quality standards. It is designed to minimize the risks involved in any pharmaceutical production that cannot be eliminated through testing the final product. GMP covers all aspects of production, from the starting materials, premises, and equipment to the training and personal hygiene of staff.
Green Dot (Grønt Punkt)
The Green Dot (Grønt Punkt) system is an internationally recognized symbol indicating that a manufacturer has made a financial contribution towards the recycling of packaging.
Originating in Germany, this system has been adopted by various countries, each operating under the principle of extended producer responsibility (EPR). It mandates producers and importers to finance the collection, sorting, and recycling of used packaging to minimize environmental impact.
While Grønt Punkt Norge specifically manages the system in Norway, ensuring efficient recycling practices and promoting sustainable consumption, the Green Dot as a broader initiative encourages companies worldwide to engage in eco-friendly packaging management. This global network supports the recycling of diverse materials, including plastics, metals, paper, and glass, aiming to foster a circular economy where resources are maximally reused and recycled. The Green Dot symbolizes a commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainable business practices across borders, contributing to the reduction of waste and the promotion of recycling efforts on an international scale.
GLOBALG.A.P. Certification
GLOBALG.A.P. Certification is a globally recognized standard that ensures agricultural products are produced safely and sustainably. It sets international benchmarks for food safety, traceability, environmental sustainability, and the welfare of workers and animals.
Sedex SMETA
Sedex SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit) is one of the most widely used ethical audit formats in the world, designed to help businesses assess their sites and suppliers to ensure responsible business practices in global supply chains.
SMETA focuses on labor standards, health and safety, environmental management, and business ethics. It allows companies to demonstrate due diligence and transparency in their supply chain, providing a common audit format that reduces duplication of effort. SMETA audits are conducted by third-party auditors and are available for Sedex members, aiming to improve the ethical and responsible practices of global supply chains.
Rainforest Alliance
Rainforest Alliance Certification signifies a commitment to sustainable farming practices that protect forests, rivers, soils, and wildlife, while also ensuring fair treatment and good working conditions for workers.
Products bearing the Rainforest Alliance Certified™ seal come from farms that adhere to rigorous environmental, social, and economic criteria developed to promote responsible land use, conservation, improved livelihoods, and human rights. This global certification encourages farmers to grow crops and manage land sustainably, reducing environmental impacts and enhancing social equity.
